Found some really nice replacement rims for my 2001 Chevy Suburban on the easy to navigate website, which gave huge selection of suitable tyres to package together. After making the deposit Dave informed me my chosen tyres were being withdrawn due to technical issues with them, but was straight on the case with a good selection of equivalents. A great set of 20in alloys and tyres arrived extremely quickly after ordering on Sunday and were delivered Wednesday morning before the actual 1 hour time slot I was given, they were very well packaged with the fitting kit and locking nuts I purchased in separate box’s inside another bigger box so not bouncing around inside the wheel they were packed within, fitted today Sunday 13th and they have totally transformed the ride and comfort of my Vw t6.1 better handling grip etc and less road noise then the 16in factory fitted set. I purchased my Mercedes Cabriolet E400d two years ago and quickly found that the 20-inch alloy wheels coupled with the run-flat low profile "Rubber band" tyres were just not up to the state of our disgraceful roads. In the first year due to the potholes one of the wheels cracked and tyre was damaged. Mercedes quoted me £1060 to replace the wheel and that didn’t include the cost of a new run-flat tyre. I then found through social media, that this is a very common occurrence with the Merc wheels, especially with run-flat tyres as their hard sidewalls transmit the shock straight into the wheel. I was so fed up I was about to change my car for a Land Rover Defender, when somebody on Facebook said they solved this problem by purchasing four 19-inch alloys with non run-flat tyres from Wheelbase. I looked them up and found dealing with Wheelbase to be very easy. They answered all of my questions promptly and put my mind at rest. I bought a set of 19-inch wheels tyres fully balanced together with a space saver spare wheel all for under £2000 ! They arrived within days and after changing the wheels I can honestly say it is like driving a different car - Night and Day! Smooth, Quiet, and I can really relax when driving.
